BEO STRENGTH & FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

CF L2

Dedicated Strength and Conditioning Programmer

"Hello everyone! My name is Robert but most people call me Rob or Bob at Beo. I program the workouts and also am a longtime member of Beo. You can also find me coaching a class once in a great while.

I work full-time at West High just up the hill as a Special Education Behavior teacher. I also coach the Boy's tennis team in the spring. I have a wonderful family consisting of my wife Robin and three daughters Teagan, Sawyer, and Loghan. In my spare time, you can find me golfing or attending my kid's activities.

"I have always loved staying active and playing competitive sports. I was drawn to CrossFit years ago because of its competitive aspect. I was bored with the globo gym routine and after my first workout, I was craving more. I quickly got into coaching as well, earning my Level 1 after a couple of months of doing CrossFit. I love meeting new people and can say that I have met the best people while at BEO."

1:1 Coach

"I got into CrossFit as soon as I graduated high school. I didn’t know who I wanted to be, but I knew I wanted to be strong. As the years went by, I realized I absolutely loved going to the gym. It’s a safe haven for me from all the stress that being an adult is."

"I decided to become a coach so that others like me can feel safe and comfortable at Beo. 7 years later, married with 1 cat, and I’m still trying to figure out who I want to be, but one thing is for sure, I love coaching/working out at Beo."

Gymnastics Specialist

"I was born and raised in Omaha, NE and spent the majority of my life competing and eventually coaching gymnastics. In 2001 I earned a BS in Exercise Science and have been working in the fitness industry ever since.

"My husband and I moved to Dakota Dunes in 2010 and I was introduced to CrossFit in 2013. I immediately fell in love with it and have never looked back. The diversity along with the learning and building of new skills is what I love most about CrossFit. It also helped spark the competitive fuel that I missed after my gymnastics days were over.

"Outside of the gym I love spending time with my husband, Dave, and my two sons, Zach 11 and Zane 9. We love traveling and attending lots of sporting events!"
